Ir Dr Lo is a successful HK politician chairing Legislative Council Public Works Committee in charge of funding for all HK infra structure works.

His public services cover infrastructure, town planning, environment, housing, technology, industry, education and community works. He was President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in the session 2007/08 and was a Sha Tin District Councilor from 1997 to 2011.
